It was time for our last visitors
before the school year started. Dad, Andrea and Ewan came visit. We
decided to do our favoured down the coast trip with them. First stop
was Santa Cruz where Ste and Ewan made themselves feel pretty sick by
going on every rollercoaster/nasty looking ride available. They had
a ball. I managed to get dad on the log flume and we got pretty wet.
It was a baking hot day though so we soon drier off. Phia persuaded
Ewan to go on the uppy/downy ride with ride (it takes you high into
the air and then drops you down quickly). The look on his face was
priceless. We then headed down into Monterey for something to eat.
The next day was further down the coast and into Big Sur. Stunning
as usual and we had a fabulous day on Pheiffer beach in the glorious
sunshine. Unfortunately the traffic was horrendous on the way home
and it took us hours. However overall it was a brilliant trip.
