So we've been here for 2 years. Wow. Time flies when you're having fun ;) We celebrated with a trip to Six Flags where Ste got me to go on this hideous rollercoaster thing. All good fun.
Mum has been over and its been spring break too so plenty of opportunity to explore. We left the sunshine behind for the day to go to San Fran. Freezing as usual! There is a children's museum in Sausalito with a fantastic view of the bridge.
We spent a happy 3 hours playing with glitter sand, painting on windows and travelling in Cinderella's pumpkin carriage.
I also managed to sneak away for the day and go to a writer's conference in Citrus Heights. I loved it. It was completely inspiring and has made me think this is really want I want to do. My picture book, The Word Thief, is nearing completion and now I just have to sum up the courage to actually start sending it to people. All fingers crossed.
