So finally, finally our Green Cards are here. We're official. So plans for the future are slowly being made. It seems we both have decided the American journey is definitely not over and want to stay here another couple of years. We also want to stop wasting money on rent and buy a house. However due to lack of funds this is going to prove difficult unless I get some type of decentish job. And then there's the school. They are seeming happy playing together this year but Sophia's tiny class of 11 pupils worries me. While they'll both do well academically I think the social side of things won't be enough for them as they get older. I would much prefer to move them to a decent public school but which one? and where? and how if I can't find work? I'm trying to be a big brave girl but its quite a lot for my tiny mind to deal with just now!
So I suppose the first thing I should do is get off this blog and go and apply for some jobs!

First Day of K for T!
He looked the part and strolled in with no tears. My fears about him being overwhelmed were
unfounded. Our baby is definitely
growing up.
When I picked him up he informed me he had made a friend,
played with Sophia at recess and made a kissing hand. Seemed very happy with his lot. Long may it continue!
Back to the motherland....
8th July
...for 5 whole weeks (well 2 for Ste, but that was long enough for him!). Surprisingly we took the sunshine with us and as always was great to catch up with everyone. Highlights were a certain wedding, seeing Ste's parents new place, crazy golf with dad, a fun trip to Cambourne, a trip to Wales and, of course, Harry Potter world!!!
